[HANDverk] @ In the Mood for 2046

So Toby and I have been trying to focus more on not only churning out new products, but promoting our store and becoming more recognizable. We recently rented a small satellite store in the In the Mood for 2046 mall. It’s small, but we have a lot of things in there for people to see when they are shopping. The other stores in the build are: SLUG, Anthem., & Le Primitif. We decided to rent here because the mall looked really cohesive with a small Chinatown alley feel. We even made a red store sign to match.

Come check it out if you can, you might see something you like at one of the other stores, or just get a few neat shots around the street (there are poseballs in a few spots if you feel the need to loiter, like us).

The [H] Look #22

So in the last look post, I lied. I guess I don’t tend to stray from dresses as much as I think I do. When I was shopping at LaGyo, I saw this crown of stuff and knew I had to have it. The look felt like it needed a light, ethereal gown of sorts, so this silk gown from The Sea Hole fit the bill.

I think the only thing that would be missing form this look is mud stains on the hem of the dress. And some dirty barefeet. Then this would be the ultimate insane swamp-woman look.

The [H] Look #21

Here is another colorful look using a dress. I suppose I tend to stay away from dresses because there is only so much one can kind of do to accessorize one, but this pulled together well, albeit a tad disheveled.

This hair is from [kik], a store I had never heard of before seeing the hair around on Flickr. The texturing is pretty great, it really looks tangled and wispy. Since it was so crazy on top, I added a nice headpiece by LaGyo to emphasize the craziness. Now my avatar just needs to sit curled up in a corner, rocking on her heels while mumbling. But alas, I did not have that kind of a pose. These poses were picked up from Olive Juice before they closed–I went a bit nuts buying discounted animations there.

On a funny note, someone told me that I looked like a clown in role-play wearing this. I disagree, but I suppose this isn’t the most subtle of outfit choices.
