Optimizing LOD for Scuplts and Mesh
We at [Handverk] make many things using sculpts and/or mesh. In order to see your purchase in all of it’s detailed glory, it is necessary to raise your LOD (Level of Detail) settings. Usually the viewer will default the settings to around 1, but you should have it at at least 4 so that sculpts and mesh rez properly for you.
- Enable the Advanced Menu with Ctrl-Alt-d
- Select ‘Show Debug Settings’
- Type RendervolumeLODFactor into the bar
- Change the value to 4 and click the x to close in the top right corner.
Done!
